The Virtuo concept design by Canadian developer, Yana Klimava is attempting to breach the demographic of potential artists frustrated by the steep learning curve necessary when starting out. A digital palette reduces the cost of trial-and-error in learning to properly mix colours and get painting making it one of the most practical and ambitious ideas conceived of.

Klimava’s digital palette, display and brushes all work to allow for easy experimentation with colour creation and provide limitless opportunities for the novice artist without enough confidence to mix from physical paint.

Although it may initially be targeted toward amateurs the Virtuo would also represent a fantastic tool for professional artists who work in the digital medium enough to warrant it.
