Two men with a plan now have another plan: how to best survive in prison. Their brilliant idea was to promote the sale of thousands of bootlegged movies, video games, satellite receivers, and consoles via a website called http://www.blockbusted.ca/. Those who were interested in the items would simply contact them and arrange for a time and place to meet.
One such party who became interested in scheduling a meeting was local authorities. In fact, the local police initiated a telecommunications fraud investigation at a home near Bathurst and Sheppard. The result you ask? Two Toronto men, 29-year-old Michael Wong and 31-year-old Jeremy Coffin are now face a total of 31 charges, long-term prison time, and a new cell-mate named “Bubba” who has an affinity for Internet pirates.
