The Take off and Landing Cessna is a Hammacher Schlemmer exclusive. This remote controlled plane takes off and lands. Yes, I said lands. This plane is not like those other remote controlled planes that cannot land smoothly so you end up crashing, it really lands. The four-channel radio gives you control over the throttle, rudder, elevator, and aerilons, which are the same control surfaces found on real airplanes that affect pitch, yaw, and roll. The electric motor is the heart of the plane and drives the propeller in order to reach an average speed of 50 miles per hour in level flight. During a steep dive, you can reach speeds up to 80 miles per hour.
