Star Wars fans can rejoice now that the collaboration of noted game developers, BioWare and LucasArts has been officially announced. As suspected the setting will be within the game world made popular in the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic action-RPG series.

Players will be able to pick between allegiance to the Sith Empire and Galactic Republic as well as whether they wish to adhere to the dark or light side of the Force.

The press release promised that the game players will be able to take part in a massive storyline although it’s hard to tell as of yet how LucasArts and BioWare plan to implement a real narrative into the MMO.
