All of us geeks need a tricorder to scan the area for danger and ThinkGeek has given us just what we need with the Star Trek Original Series Tricorder. The top pops up just like the one on the original Star Trek series to lights and sounds with three buttons, which will activate the sound/light effects. The first door has the data disks and a rotting moiré pattern and the second door is home to a secret compartment and hand scanner. The tricorder measures 7.5″ x 5″ x 2″ and comes with the batteries needed which are 3 AAA and 2 LR44.
