The Sony PlayStation 3 is Wi-Fi ready and hosts a number of titles which allow for either Bluetooth headset speech or text communication. Although the built-in keyboard function of the console is already pretty impressive, Sony has released the Wireless Keypad to speed up the process even further.
Engadget has posted an in-depth review of the Wireless Keypad and found the device to be a functional though ultimately unnecessary peripheral.
The clip-on QWERTY keypad hosts a USB port for independent charging from the controller and performs its task well although the $50 USD price tag may make it a bit more expensive than it’s worth.
With enough compatible keyboards already working for the PS3, we’ll stay away from this one.
