The senior vice-president of music programming at Sirius XM Radio, Jon Zellner, has announced his departure from the company to work with rival business Clear Channel.

Zellner moves on from his time at Sirius (which began in 2005) to take on the same role for Clear Channel’s music programming department. He will be replaced by Steve Blatter, a programmer that has already been active at Sirius XM Radio for some time prior to Zellner’s departure announcement, working on shows such as Opie and Anthony.

The move from Sirius XM Radio to Clear Channel is set to take place on July 20th.
