Quick Bites – Service Issues and Elton John Limited Engagement
Over the last few weeks I have been reading several comments in response to two popular pieces which are held on this site. One about cancelling the lifetime subscriptions which was written long before I came on board, and the other about service issues.
I have responded to several of you privately and publicly through the comments section.
I am extending my invitation to comment about service issues to all XM Canada customers. What I have done to try and provide readers with more information is contact head office for the company in New York to ask who complaints can be escalated to if there are problems. I was told in writing on Monday October 18th that someone would be getting back to me. As soon as I have the information they share I will post it here.
It can go one of two ways.
1. The will post a contact name with full contact information; or
2. They will direct me to the Canadian offices since I am a Canadian customer.
I hope number one scenario will be the result. Please stay tuned. I have been trying to get this information for some time.
It is unfortunate that many of you have had such negative experiences with the service desk. It seems I am one of the few who have enjoyed great service.
This past October 15 through October 22, Sirius 33 The Bridge became the most recent limited Engagement hosting Elton John Radio. This is in celebration of the latest release from Elton where he is collaborating with Leon Russell. “The Union” so far is actually really good and everyone should check it out. Probably some of the best stuff Elton has done in years.
