At the beginning of September Samsung released the Android 2.2-powered Galaxy Tab. The Samsung Galaxy Tab is a brand new tablet that many believe is the first real competitor for the iPad. Features include a 7-inch capacitive touch screen with 1024 x 600 resolution, front- and rear-facing cameras and Adobe Flash 10.1. The Galaxy Tab offers a 1 GHz Cortex A8 processor and can be purchased in 16 GB or 32 GB along with microSD expansion up to 32 gigs. Connectivity is easy with 3G, Bluetooth 3.0 and 802.11n Wi-Fi. Okay, the sad news; those in the UK will get their hands on this first and the US. Know someone in the UK; ask them just how great this new gadget is.
