The week of October 26th to November 1st has some pretty solid titles across all platforms. In this inaugural segment of “Breaking the Bank” we here at TechViva will tell you exactly what you should be spending your retirement funds on – because we all live for the present, and not for the future.
Of note, Guitar Hero: World Tour makes its debut, Fallout 3 makes us regret buying Fable II and we finally get a taste of Little Big Planet minus its controversial lyrics.
XBOX 360
PS3
Nintendo Wii
Safe Pick: Until Activision can sort out the hardware problems for Guitar Hero: World Tour, the safe pick this week would be to grab a copy of Fallout 3 or Little Big Planet. Although LBP looks a tad kidish, you shouldn’t let that detract you from experiencing it first hand. It’s a hilarious platformer and should give you hundreds of hours of gameplay with its level creator and the ability to download and share levels online.
