Art has taken shape in the form of a metal tree called L’arbre de Flonville in Lausanne, Switzerland. This design is a collaboration of Samuel Wilkinson and Swiss designers Oloom and the finished product provides shade and an artistic flare. There are benches beneath the metal tree that mimic the roots of a tree. The top of the tree is made out of larch wood for shade and then at night the canopy top and the seating benches are lit up with LED lights. The metal tree is a great meeting place and it stands 12 meters tall.
