For us geeks that spend hours upon hours sitting in front of a computer screen working for the majority of the day and then having fun the rest of the day, realize just how much our eyes are suffering. Computer monitors along with fluorescent lighting is found at the blue end of the spectrum. Blue light is not seen the same or does not focus the same as the other colors of the spectrum on our retina. Our eyes are constantly trying to bring this blue light into focus, which actually causes dry eyes and headaches. The Gunnar Computer Glasses work to correct this problem by shifting that light to the other end of the spectrum. Features include glasses that were designed to reduce computer related eyestrain, diAMIX lens material, i-FI lens coatings, and iONIK lens tint.
