Glo Chess: Not Quite a Hologram Board But Still Awesome
Adam Craft’s Glo Chess design takes the beloved game to new levels of modernity with its stunning design and innovative use of technology. By combining older inventions with contemporary advancements the Glo Chess board easily asserts itself as one of the most interesting and practical concept designs to emerge in recent times.
Craft utilizes Conductive V30 VELCRO technology to create a unique board surface and illuminated chess pieces.
The set is meant for easy portability and travel usage so it has been designed with wireless functionality and easy storage for pieces in side compartments.
Despite the use of batteries to power Glo Chess, energy should last for a good amount of time as the board only activates once it’s been opened for play.
