Energy Seed Design Powers Lamps with Old Batteries
As environmentalists try to figure out every possible way to reduce the pollutants humans put into the earth two Korean designers, Sungwoo Park and Sunhee Kim have conceived of the Energy Seed concept.
Energy Seed would see units being placed all over cities for pedestrians to recycle their dead batteries into. The container would accept every size of battery and use the remaining energy to power a powerful LED light, effectively killing two birds with one stone.
The glaring flaw seems to be a lack of consideration regarding exactly what cities would do with the dead Energy Seed batteries once they’re used up but . . . we guess that’s a problem for another time.
