BlackBerry Storm Finally Gets Official Pricing and Release Date
Finally there is a bit of good news to report for those who have been tracking the BlackBerry Storm’s progress. RIM’s upcoming gadget has received a long overdue official price and release date through Verizon stores.
The BlackBerry Storm will hit stores on Friday, November 21st for the unexpectedly low price of $199.99. Buyers will need to sign a two-year contract and use a $50 rebate to actually get the deal.
Storm’s modest price point may be a move to combat the product’s big competitors at Apple and AT&T with the iPhone 3G.
Reviews should surface early next week as test units arrive for press.
