Double Pane LCD Screens Create the Illusion of 3D
Double pane LCD screens are the newest concept by renowned designer, Mac Funamizu and represent a fantastic vision of the near future. The technology enables a 3D type view to be easily brought into anywhere LCD screens are currently used without a huge leap in manufacturing or consumer spending.
The type of depth simulated when two LCD screens are used in conjunction is a much better solution to 3D viewing than other prototypes currently being developed.
If adopted interactive maps and all sorts of other fantastic graphics could be easily created. Here’s hoping it pans out sometime in the future.
