Blackberry Storm Gives Apple Something to Worry About

$name Blackberry Storm Gives Apple Something to Worry About

The Blackberry Storm is finally starting to get some new details which gives fans something to be excited about and Apple something to worry about. Storm may represent the first real competitor to the iPhone’s success since the latter product overtook Blackberry’s immense popularity in past years.Perhaps the most exciting feature already unveiled for the Storm is its touch-screen capability. Instead of only allowing the old-style, space consuming QWERTY keyboard, the Blackberry Storm is set to host both the previous option while affording the same functionality through a visual, computer-styled keyboard.

The touch-screen is just the icing on the cake as the Storm is also going to host the same loads of features found through iPhone applications. With Waterloo Ontario’s Research in Motion (RIM) working hard on development, Apple is going to have to watch out as the Blackberry attempts a resurfacing as everyone’s favourite tech toy.

For now, check out a video of the new Blackberry in action as we collectively count the days leading up to the Storm hitting retail.
