So, the Flip Mino is Pretty Cool
Flip’s Mino is a new camcorder that is both tiny and extremely easy to use, serving as a smaller version of the larger model Flip Ultra. The price is great at just under $200 and it’s well worth a look for anyone interested in a new, very slick looking and convenient digital recording device.
The Mino has 2GB of built-in storage and a decent enough resolution at its price and size (640×480 pixels/inch). It charges via an onboard USB port and comes with software for direct uploading to video sharing sites like YouTube. The best feature is probably the big red button in the middle of the Mino though. All a user has to do it is press down until they hear a beep then start recording.
Since it’s so easy to use, the Mino is a great new gadget for regular concert-goers or anyone else interested in the idea of being able to capture footage while on the move. It doesn’t compete with the big boys but that’s not really the point when you consider it’s size and price.
