Rock Band 2 announced, worst kept secret evar

It’s back, unfortunately, to no surprise.
We all knew it was bound to happen, Rock Band would eventually bring about a sequel. The party-starter simulation band game was and continues to be a huge hit on every platform. Last week, it was given new life, or at least life, on the Nintendo Wii - months after renditions for the 360, Ps3 and PS2 hit store shelves.
Regardless, the second installment is on its way and will, undoubtedly, promise to be better than Guitar Hero: World Tour. Will it? Who knows. Those with the money to buy both will have the final say - or at least an opinion, but I’ll be kicking back and waiting till some unbiased reviews come in. Sorry Gamespot, low blow - I know.
Owners of DLC for the previous Rock Band will be able to transfer their songs over and will still be able to use their existing peripherals. You can probably expect the same better graphics and new setlist speech most musical games have.
Look for it some time in September.
