StarryNight beats Google to the punch.
Someone actually beat Google to something?
Score one for the little guys!

Google Earth continues to impress many, this time with its latest function which allows for toggling of Google Earth and Google Sky. Unless your home offers a convertible top and you are able to peel back the roof while you interact with your Google Earth software, you may be interested in getting your hands on a mobile application. I am sure that Google has plans of their own to offer this service to mobile phones. Who knows ? They may plan to start this with their own Google Phone. However, in their absence, StarryNight is available now, and it too offers some fairly fun and useful information. The application is optimized for both the Apple iPhone and Blackberry phones. It is easy to use with simple arrow key or roller ball navigation, and it may impress your date when you share your knowledge of the big dipper vs. little dipper, as after all, size does matter.
