I Share, I collaborate, iChat.
If you need computer help at work or home, iChat bridges the gap.
If people already call you for help, change your phone number quickly.

Ok, I admit it… I am impressed. Unfortunately, I fear that I am also about to be over-worked. For years, my family and friends have called, emailed, and on occasion, even sent smoke signals, requesting my assistance for their computer related woes. Common tasks were easily avoidable with a simple statement such as, “if I was at your home or office I could help, but from afar I fear my abilities are limited.” With Leopard comes the upgraded release of iChat, and with iChat comes shared work space and file collaboration. Thus, the doors to questions such as “how do I open a newly installed program? I am unable to find the icon” or “if you would only help edit my resume, I am sure that I could land a job” are flung wide open.
In all honesty, these new features bring about great efficiency and unlimited possibilities. iChat allows for easy file collaboration, with what it calls iTheater. This application allows you to view files with one or multiple chat partners. Thus, you can not only see the file(s) and applications on others systems, you may control them.
To partake in the iChat / iTheater applications, all users need to be running the newly launched Leopard operating system.

In the screen shot depicted above, you may see the new features in action! When you take over someones computer, you will see it in full screen. However, a nifty little add on is that your screen remains visible as a smaller window in the lower right corner. Thus, you may toggle back and forth between desktops by clicking on the desired window.
