Adidas “Kicks” off new cell phone.
An odd idea, that just might work.
(A)ll (D)ay (I) (D)ream (A)bout (S)..ell phones?

Stranger things have happened. In a time when just about everybody has an intense desire to enter the lucrative and growing cell phone market place, Adidas puts their hat into the ring. You may recall our Pac-Man style phone from Billabong just a few posts back. Will their be an end to the fashion oddities, mishaps and failed attempts at cross-over product developments for the mere chance of “ringing” in sales with the cell phone industry? Probably not, and therefore we shall just sit back and enjoy the show.
Adidas does show us, however, that from time to time, such an attempt may actually work. The phone is manufactured by Samsung, which in itself is a good start. However, the functionality is what is most impressive, as they actually do build in stable sport functions. The phone has a built in pedometer to track and calculate your traveled distance when running or walking. Ah, but the phone also has heart…well, a heart rate monitor that is.
