iPhone upgrades to “Mobile Computer” status soon.
New Year, New iPhone Functionality.
February, 2008 .. So close, yet so far.

Ah, they grow up so fast. Only several months old and already our jumping, bundle of joy is maturing. Beginning February, 2008, the iPhone will officially acquire the “Mobile Computer” status.
At birth, Jobs kept firm reigns on his new iPhone baby by literally shutting out all of the aspiring application developers. His efforts to placate their needs were nothing more than re-directing them to design web-applications. What feels like a long awaited, inevitable announcement, Steve Jobs confirmed that he is opening the doors to developers in February, 2008. Now the brainstorming begins as developers look for ways to appeal to the masses. Thus, the race to develop applications which expand the functionality and usability of iPhone has begun!
